OverviewApplication Consultant - Campania/Puglia role at Leica Biosystems. The Application Consultant is responsible for delivering first-class technical applications support and training, performing demonstrations of Leica Biosystems Instruments and reagents, with promotion and sales of the LBS product portfolio. ResponsibilitiesProvide application support, with a commercial awareness, to customers as required including in-field troubleshooting of application problems and diagnosing rudimentary hardware and software failures In collaboration with the entire local Leica Biosystems team, provide on-site pre-sales technical support to drive high-value sales opportunities, including customer-facing technical visits and instrument demonstrations Support the development of strong customer relationships and ensure continued satisfaction and loyalty Provide qualified support to the Customer Care and Tender Office in the preparation of technical documentation and the precise coding of IVDR-compliant products for inclusion in healthcare tenders within the assigned territory Essential requirementsCommercial awareness Excellent communication skills, including the ability to deliver presentations and conduct training sessions for diverse audiences Educational background in scientific disciplines Full professional proficiency in Italian and a good command of English Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and implement effective solutions Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional and multicultural environments Preferred qualificationsPrevious experience in multinational companies Familiarity with pathology laboratory environments This is a full-time, permanent position, part of the Field Applications team based in the Naples area, with a fully remote work arrangement. The role requires approximately 50% field presence. You will be part of the Italian Application Consultant team and report to the SEM Advanced Staining & Application Consultant Manager, responsible for application support in the Campania–Puglia area, with occasional travel to other Italian regions as needed.
