Legal Counsel | EssilorLuxotticaJoin to apply for the Legal Counsel role at EssilorLuxottica.Your RoleWe are looking for a Legal Counsel who will provide support for contracts, commercial laws, regulatory matters and legal advice across the EMEA region and globally (global contracts negotiated from HQ). The resource will be mainly dedicated to serving the following teams:Sourcing Team & Indirect Procurement teams, R&D Frames team – drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial, procurement, logistics, services contracts, NDAs and related documents.R&D/Engineering/Quality team – providing legal advice on regulatory matters (medical devices, PPE, clinical trials/investigations, eHealth, telemedicine, etc.), H&S, environmental matters, and drafting related contracts and documents.The candidate will be based in Agordo offices and shall collaborate with colleagues in the Operations legal team located in Agordo, Milano and Paris.Main ResponsibilitiesReview, draft and negotiate sourcing and procurement contracts, services and purchasing agreements, logistics/global forwarding services, and other commercial contracts.Review, draft and negotiate research & development agreements, collaboration agreements, and related documents.Provide legal advice on regulatory matters and medicines-related issues, review, draft, negotiate agreements and other documentation in the regulatory area.Provide general support to the Ops legal team and internal clients on various legal matters, support in organizing and providing trainings, drafting templates, intercompany agreements, NDAs, etc.Main RequirementsMinimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial law, with basic expertise in regulatory matters and demonstrated experience in sourcing and procurement contracts.Knowledge of medical devices regulation and experience in a life science practice area at a law firm is a strong plus.Diversity, Equity and Inclusion CommitmentWe are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
