Working on large scale projects with cutting-edge technology we constantly improve and innovate.Partner with the bestProvide technical support to the Commercial Manager and Application Engineer in defining the most suitable solutions for customer needs.Lead product design optimization initiatives with a strong focus on cost-out and continuous improvement.Define and select the technical properties of products included in the new Pump Water Solutions business portfolio.Manage and optimize customer technical specifications ensuring alignment with manufacturing capabilities and business goals.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive design-to-market activities and accelerate time-to-market for new solutions.Offer technical leadership and make strategic engineering decisions to support business growth.Actively contribute to building the team and shaping technical and commercial processes from the ground up.Attend Customer meetings / events to lead the technical expertise and know how about Pump Water Solutions businessFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will have :MSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).Proven experience with rotating equipment preferably in the water and energy sectors.Fluent in English both written and spoken.Proficiency with technical design tools and CAD / CAE software.Knowledge of international standards and regulations related to pumps water and energy systems.Availability to travel to attend Customer meetings / events useful to close deals / negotiationsSoft SkillsStrong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration mindset.Ability to manage complex challenges with an analytical and solution-oriented approach.Entrepreneurial spirit and eagerness to contribute to building a new business .Proactive attitude decision-making autonomy and technical leadership capabilities.Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone this role we can offer the following flexible working patterns :Working flexible hours - flexing the times when you work in the day to help you fit everything in and work when you are the most productiveWorking with usOur people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
