With associates across 40+ countries, Cytiva is a place where every day is a learning opportunity – so you can grow your career and expand your skills in the long term.Forming part of the Biotechnology segment at Danaher, we bring together dedicated technical expertise and talent to develop the next generation of life‑changing therapeutics.Cytiva’s Field Service Engineer is responsible for several activities such as installation and qualification, preventative maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repairs, as well as promoting service contracts and identifying opportunities that have a significant impact on the organization.This position is part of the Biotechnology Integrated Solutions – Equipment Services team based in Italy (preferably in the Lombardy region) and will be fully remote. At Cytiva, our vision is to advance future therapies from discovery to delivery.As part of your duties, you will have the opportunity to :Represent the company to our clientsPlan and execute service activities at the customer’s siteManage own stock and work ordersParticipate in sales opportunities and assist with promoting and implementing revenue programs.The Essential Requirements Of The Position Are As FollowsEducation : Majored in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer, Electronic or Automation or equivalent fieldMinimum 2 years of experience in a similar positionTechnical skills : Very good mechanical and electrical skills, experience troubleshootingEnglish is requiredAbility to travel : 70 % travel and overnight stay within territoryIt would be a plus if you also had previous experience in the following areas :Biopharma or Biotechnologies IndustryComputers (Windows OS, PC, server), networks and databaseAt Cytiva we believe in designing a better, more sustainable workforce.
