Are you looking for a challenging and dynamic environment where to build your professional career?
We are looking for a **Vehicle Safety Electronics** **to join our headquarters at Sant'Agata Bolognese (BO), hierarchically reports to **Head of Biw Structures & Vehicle Safety **and functionally reporting to **Coordination of Vehicle safety.**
You will be responsible to coordinate, plan and release the software, hardware and calibration of the electronic safety components during product development phase, supporting R&D structures with reccomendations of vehicle safety issues. You will also have the chance to plan and organize vehicle safety tests for electronic algo calibration, analysisng recsults a and addresses issues to competent functions.
- Plan, track and schedule software/hardware/calibration and bug-fix release of the Airbag ECU and crash sensors
- Define the Airbag ECU configuration for every project and coordinate the activity with different suppliers.
- Define the layout and coordinate the installation of the safety components (Airbag ECU and Crash Sensors) on all projects
- Define and manage the budget necessary for the Airbag ECU activities
- Support the data analysis and vehicle set-up before and after the crash tests
- Collaborate and support the integration of the safety components and the homologation
- To collaborate and support the integration and validation of the safety components together with Homologation departement
- Give technical support during suppliers/partners selection for vehicle safety systems
- Manage technical safety issues during suppliers/partners selection for vehicle safety systems
- Manage technical safety issues during prototypes and pre-series development phases in coopoeration with suppliers/partners departments
- Take the part in validation processes with external authority and prepare self-certification accordingly with specific Countries laws.
- Relations with external partners for safety requests, during development and validations tests.
**About you**
- Master Degree in Electronic Engineering or Mechatronics
- Experience in Electronic Control Units and sensors management
- Fully proficient in English, German as a plus but not mandatory
- Knowledge of Vector tool suite: Canalyzer, Canoe, Capl
- Knowledge of Can, Lin, networks and UDS protocol
- Knowledge of basic Project Management tools
- Problem solving
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with design and developments groups
- Ability to record of on-time delivery and to work cross-functionally
- Ability to deliver under pressure in a dynamiv environment
- Proactive attitude and self-motivation
