Job ID: | Amazon Commercial Services Pty LtdAmazon is hiring for a Maintenance Supervisor to join the team at our Moorebank Print on Demand (PoD) site.The Maintenance Supervisor is the shift lead for a team of up to 8 technicians (fitters and electricians).During each shift, they lead the team in executing preventative maintenance to maximize equipment uptime. They maintain a strong focus on safety by monitoring processes and procedures to ensure compliance with all regulations and policies.Learn more about Amazon RME in AustraliaKey job responsibilitiesSupervise and lead Maintenance Technicians by motivating, providing guidance and directions to help them achieve their goals.Deliver and maintain Preventive Maintenance programs, building compliance programs, including facility and contractor management.Act as an ambassador for safety within the team and to promote safe working across the site.Manage maintenance related purchase orders to maximise smooth facility operation and control of critical spare and store inventory to ensure adequate stock levels for maintenance.Install, maintain, and troubleshoot all FC systems including power distribution, automated material handling equipment, conveyance, and all other operational equipment.Develop and maintain a good working relationship across all levels in the organisation, including regular attendance to site leadership meetings and steering committees.Basic QualificationsFormal trade qualification: Cert III In Electrotechnology holding an unrestricted trade licence OR Cert III Mechanical Engineering (Fitter/Turner). Alternatively, equivalent trade qualifications formally recognised in Australia.Industrial maintenance experience.Leadership experience in supervising multi-trade teams in a fast paced industrial manufacturing/distribution center environment.Experience in mentoring and developing technicians.Relevant experience in automation or material handling equipment environments.Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks.Experience in contractor management.Preferred QualificationsPreferred qualifications are not required to apply for a position at Amazon.
