Overview Join to apply for the Software Engineer – C++/Linux role at eGlue Technologies . Established in Turin in 2008, eGlue Technologies is a leading company in embedded software development, cloud computing, and machine learning. eGlue supports industrial and automotive customers from the very early stages of the project to the final release of the product. Initially concentrating on developing Linux-based embedded software for connected vehicles, our journey has evolved to launch a cloud division fulfilling the increasing market demand of big data analytics. Adopting Agile methodology, we ensure adaptability and iterative development in both embedded and cloud projects. We are seeking Junior and Senior Software Engineers specialising in C++/Linux to join our team, contributing significantly to the design and development of software for embedded devices in the IoT/Automotive field. Beyond coding, you will play a key part in creating solutions that seamlessly integrate with cutting‑edge systems. Your expertise in C++ and Linux will be crucial for developing robust and efficient solutions. Collaborating with cross‑functional teams, you will contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to implementation and testing. You will actively participate in projects centred around the following key topics: Linux‑based Middleware for managing updates, handling application lifecycle, offering security, and abstracting hardware resources. Real‑time data collection and processing for Automotive IoT applications such as fleet monitoring, predictive maintenance, drive style estimation, vehicle health monitoring, and road type estimation. We are open to considering the placement of students in Internships . Responsibilities Understanding software architecture (Middleware on Linux). Developing software components (primarily in C++). Addressing technical issues related to software implementation and upgrades. Participating in alignment meetings with the development team and project stakeholders (senior profiles). Interfacing with the customer for requirements understanding and problem solving (senior profiles). Requirements Basic (Junior/Internship) Knowledge of C++ and object‑oriented programming. Knowledge in Linux and shell scripting. Preferred (Senior) Proven work experience in C++ development on Linux (4+ years). Proficiency in Linux and shell scripting. Experience in Yocto project. Knowledge of automotive standards and protocols (e.g., CAN, UDS, etc.). Additional Information Language: English, Italian (B2+). Work model: Hybrid.
