Therapeutic Specialist - Lombardia IQVIA • Milan, Lombardy, Italy On behalf of our Client Gilead, a global biopharmaceutical company that leads in immunotherapy and engineered T cell therapy, IQVIA is looking for a Therapeutic Specialist. We are looking to recruit a highly motivated talent to join the Kite Team and be part of our exciting journey in the development of innovative cancer cell therapies and their translation to the treatment of patients with cancer. The role is field based and will be responsible for managing activities within the assigned working area. Responsibilities Ensure in-depth level of product and therapeutic disease knowledge to promote the appropriate use of the company’s Cell Therapy products to healthcare professionals in compliance with ethical and internal compliance rules, pharmaceutical regulations and according to the strategy determined by the company; Provide support for the development and implementation of the Care Pathway strategy and, in accordance with the product strategy, put in place campaigns focused on patient journey and on the needs of healthcare professionals; Be responsible for achieving coverage and frequency targets and consistently hitting sales targets in the assigned territory; Provide support to prepare accurate treatment forecast analysis supported by insights on trends, industry dynamics, opportunities and challenges in the therapeutic landscape; Utilize a cross‑functional account‑management approach to leverage resources and expertise from across the wider team; Accountable for implementing and executing effective customer engagement strategies and field action plans using a multi‑channel approach and building clinical advocacy; Work both as an individual contributor and as an active part of the cross‑functional team; Complete necessary administrative tasks in a timely manner, e.g., updating customer database, expenses, etc. Requirements Typical candidates will possess a BA/BS or MS degree in Pharmaceutical or Biological sciences and have initial sales experience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry; Previous experience as a Medical Sales Representative with contacts with hematology specialists. Familiarity with the lymphoma area will be considered a plus. Knowledge and Skills Open‑minded approach with curiosity about new challenges and a strong drive to make an impact combined with a can‑do and problem‑solving attitude; Ability to adapt quickly in an evolving environment while keeping strong focus on business priorities; Project management fundamentals to apply in daily activities; Curiosity about industry trends and current updates on competitors’ resources and practices. Ability to discuss the pros and cons (overall goals of plan cost vs. efficacy, dosing duration, etc.) of a product protocol and ask in‑depth questions of experts to clarify understanding; Proactively identify issues, opportunities and resolutions; Attitude to work in a cross‑functional team; Serve as a technical expert of assigned product therapeutic/disease classes and patient needs to educate/influence key physicians and community members; credibly discuss the science of therapeutic products with relevant stakeholders. We offer Competitive salary package commensurate with experience. Starting with a temporary contract of 1 year.
