The candidate will be part of an engineering team and, starting from the analysis of customer functional and technical requirements, will define the project architecture, carry out system development and configuration, and oversee factory testing (FAT) and on-site testing (SAT).PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop SCADA applications and HMI interfaces: database configuration, graphic pages, alarmsConfigure LAN networks with industrial switches, especially setting up VLANs in radial and ring topologiesUse industry-specific protocols for the energy/utilities sector: IEC 61850, IEC , ModbusManage project documentation such as functional specifications, user documentation, instructions, and proceduresREQUIREMENTS AND SKILLSAbility to read electrical diagrams, especially those related to relay logicBasic knowledge of PLC/Codesys IEC 61131 programmingGood command of Microsoft Office suite, especially ExcelBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation Engineering or related disciplines (Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electronics) and/or Higher Technical Diploma in Automation and MechatronicsStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and in a teamWillingness to learn continuouslyTime management skills to handle projects and meet deadlinesWillingness to travel to customer sites (mainly in Italy) and to group companies (Milan and Barcelona)For applications, please send your CV at N.B.
