AWS is at the forefront of the cloud computing and service industry, providing IT infrastructure services such as on-demand compute capacity, storage, content delivery, database services, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and more.Key Job ResponsibilitiesSupport AWS’s network infrastructure.Handle subsea and terrestrial network transactions and manage network regulatory and compliance matters.Identify opportunities for automation and simplification and implement scalable mechanisms to recognize these opportunities.Resolve legal issues that arise in commercial relationships and handle pre‑litigation legal disputes.We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, enjoys working hard and being challenged, and demonstrates sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.Basic Qualifications2+ years of legal experienceJuris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalentKnowledge of the ethical considerations surrounding AI in the legal context, such as confidentiality, accuracy, and bias preventionExperience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contractsPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of IT infrastructure, outsourcing, telecommunications, cloud computing services or equivalentAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $195,700/year in our highest geographic market.
