Company and Context Randstad Digital, the specialized division of Randstad Italia in the search, selection, and training of ICT profiles, is seeking a System Engineer for Model-Based Development IDE on behalf of a leading multinational technology company. The company's Research Center in Pisa plays a central role within the Group, focusing on researching new technologies and applications in the field of digital power and electric vehicle. Position Details Title: System Engineer for Model-Based Development IDE Location: Pisa, Italy (on‑site) Contract: Permanent (via Randstad Italia SpA) Salary: Approx. €60,000 – €80,000 gross/year (commensurate with experience) Language requirement: Proficiency in English is essential Knowledge of Java programming language is essential Experience: 3–5 years in object‑oriented programming Recruitment is open to all genders (L.903/77) Responsibilities As a System Engineer, you will design and develop tools for simulation, code generation, and optimization for the Center's areas of expertise. You will join a dynamic and highly collaborative team of experts and PhDs passionate about research projects and innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities Actively contribute to the development of proprietary Model‑Based Design tools, including: Code generation Optimization Simulation Integration with Artificial Intelligence (AI) Qualifications Education: M.Sc. in Engineering (Ph.D. preferred) Experience: 3–5 years of object‑oriented programming Programming Language Skills: Java – excellent level Python – good level Model‑Driven Engineering: Experience in MDE, including model‑to‑text, text‑to‑model, and model‑to‑model transformations Artificial Intelligence (AI): Experience building efficient AI infrastructures and improving AI model efficiency Familiarity with AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, CUDA, PyTorch, MindSpore) and Large‑Language Models (LLM); integration of AI technologies into products Testing: Experience defining and executing unit tests and test automation scripts La ricerca è rivolta ai candidati ambosessi (L.903/77).
