Join to apply for the Account Manager role at CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) About the RoleAs a CBRE Account Manager, you will oversee building operations, maintenance, and account service delivery for the client facilities. This role combines responsibilities for facilities management and contract quality management, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and strong client relationships. Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team ManagementProvide formal supervision to employees, including training, development, performance evaluations, and coaching. Oversee recruiting and hiring processes. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross‑train staff. Set and track deadlines; mentor and motivate team members. Operations & MaintenanceCoordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, and contractors. Monitor maintenance effectiveness and ensure compliance with account KPIs. Conduct facility inspections and ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations. Suggest and implement operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities. Assure risk registers are implemented and followed up. Account & Client ManagementMaintain positive client relationships; lead meetings to resolve facility issues. Promote organizational capabilities and identify potential sales opportunities. Manage account programs to ensure safety and compliance with codes and regulations. Conduct client account inspections and address any issues promptly. Incident reporting and management. Financial & Project ManagementPrepare and manage operating budgets. Review and approve purchase orders for parts, services, and labor. Track vendor performance and ensure best pricing and service levels. Monitor consumption and recommend cost‑reduction programs. Assure savings targets are met. Compliance & SafetyDevelop and implement environmental health and safety procedures. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements. Process ImprovementAssist in developing operational service delivery solutions, including playbooks and account plans. Identify and resolve technical and operational problems of moderate to high complexity. Drive continuous improvement in methods, processes, and standards. Leadership & ValuesLead by example and model behaviors aligned with CBRE RISE values. Influence stakeholders to adopt new perspectives and solutions. QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's Degree preferred; equivalent experience considered. Experience: Facilities Management or Account Operations: 5-8 years for senior‑level responsibilities; experience in staffing, training, coaching, and performance management preferred. Certifications: Facility Management certification preferred. Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills for managing sensitive and complex information; advanced organizational skills and inquisitive mindset; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); intermediate math skills for financial calculations (percentages, fractions, discounts, commissions).
