We are seeking an ambitious and strategic Manager Sales (m/f/d) to lead and expand our software and SaaS business in the mobility and transportation sector in Italy and in Greece. This position combines hands-on sales leadership with team management responsibilities, driving market growth through innovative digital mobility solutions. The ideal candidate (m/f/d) is a proven leader (m/f/d) who can inspire teams, develop go-to-market strategies, and engage senior stakeholders across public and private sectors. What you move with us Leadership & Team Management Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales professionals, ensuring high performance and continuous growth. Set clear sales targets, coach the team on complex solution selling, and monitor performance through regular reviews. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and customer focus within the sales organization. Align the sales team’s objectives with company strategy, coordinating closely with regional and global management. Sales Strategy & Business Development Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for mobility-focused SaaS and software solutions. Drive business growth through new customer acquisition and expansion of existing accounts. Identify emerging trends in urban mobility, traffic management, and sustainable transport systems to shape market approach. Lead key customer negotiations and manage high-value opportunities through to closing. Client Engagement & Market Presence Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior decision-makers in municipalities, public authorities, and mobility service providers. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and strategic meetings. Collaborate with marketing to enhance brand visibility and lead generation activities in target markets. Internal Collaboration Partner with product management, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure cohesive go-to-market execution. Provide structured market feedback to guide product development and innovation. Support the preparation of bids, proposals, and RFP responses in collaboration with pre-sales and technical teams. Performance & Reporting Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets. Monitor sales KPIs and maintain accurate pipeline forecasts. Report on performance, market dynamics, and strategic opportunities to senior leadership. What you bring to PTV Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 7 years of B2B software sales experience, including at least 3 years in a management or leadership role. Proven success in SaaS or subscription-based software sales, ideally within mobility, traffic management, or smart city sectors. Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of public procurement and enterprise sales processes. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
