Description We are looking for a Solar Power Plants Asset Manager , responsible for managing the efficient operation and execution of O&M (Operations and Maintenance) activities for a portfolio of solar power plants within PPC Renewables’ fleet in Italy . The primary objectives of the role are to: Maximize asset availability Optimize operational efficiency Minimize operating costs Reporting to the Head of Operation & Production Management in Italy , within the Global Operations Division , the successful candidate will ensure regulatory compliance , operational excellence , and delivery of strategic value for the Italian solar portfolio. Responsibilities / Requirements Oversee daily operations, production, and OPEX of solar power plants, ensuring alignment with budgets and contracts. Plan and coordinate O&M activities, monitor contractor performance, and contribute to drafting technical specifications for new or renewed service contracts. Manage incident response and emergency events (e.g., faults, outages), ensuring timely resolution and reduced downtime. Conduct routine inspections and audits to assess safety, environmental sustainability, technical conditions, and contractor services. Implement asset management strategies and technologies to boost efficiency and plant performance. Analyze real-time operational data using PPCR’s digital asset management tools integrated via industrial IT networks. Prepare and deliver periodic and ad-hoc reports, including KPI analysis and performance reviews. Ensure compliance with internal procedures, health and safety standards, grid codes, and legal/regulatory frameworks. Monitor developments in the Italian and EU energy markets (e.g., ARERA, GSE) and integrate insights into asset strategies. Education & Professional / Technical Skills University or Higher Technical Degree (Engineering / Energy / Renewables) 4+ years in O&M of RES assets (solar, wind, hydro, etc.) 3+ years in construction or commissioning of RES projects Strong technical know-how in SCADA, PLCs (Siemens, ABB), and industrial IT protocols Advanced skills in asset management tools (SAP EAM, OSISOFT PI), GIS software (ArcGIS/QGIS), and programming (Python, C++, VBA) Excellent command of English (Italian/Greek a plus) Proactive mindset, analytical thinking, and a collaborative approach Benefits Make an impact in Europe’s clean energy transformation Work with cutting-edge technologies and digital tools Join an international team committed to innovation, sustainability & excellence A competitive remuneration package , aligned with experience and market standards, including performance-based incentives and benefits #J-18808-Ljbffr
