Studio Paolo Ferrari is expanding in Europe and seeking a Project Lead / Senior Interior Designer to join its new Milan office. This role offers the opportunity to lead exceptional interior design project, working with international brands across luxury hospitality and residential sectors. You’ll collaborate with an award-winning team on projects that are conceptually rich, meticulously detailed and created for some of the world’s most respected brands and clients.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture from a recognized institutionFluency in Italian and English (written and verbal)8-12+ years of architecture/interior design experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or client- facing roleSoftware proficiency: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Microsoft Office Suite and other Project management toolsLead and oversee the production of comprehensive drawing sets (DD/CD phases) in alignment with design intent and local regulationsDevelop custom millwork, detailing and technical specificationsCoordinate with consultants, suppliers and contractors to ensure accurate implementationConduct site reviews and support during construction administrationEnsure design documentation meets local code and permitting requirementsCollaborate closely with Project Directors and Creative Director across global teamsThe firm is seeking a long-term collaborator to join its Milan studio under a Partita IVA arrangement, working closely with the team on projects from concept through completion. This is a full-time position based in Milan, Italy. Candidates must be based in Milan or willing to relocate. Must have legal authorization to work in Italy/EU. (The firm is not currently able to sponsor work visas for this position).This is a unique opportunity to shape the next chapter of Studio Paolo Ferrari in one of the world’s design capitals.
