SummaryScope Ratings GmbH is looking for a Risk Manager in a dynamic credit rating agency. As a Risk Manager, you will be part of our EU-based Internal Control functions, based in Milan. You will support the senior managers of the credit rating agency and will work with functional teams at Scope. The Risk Manager is responsible for management of Scope Ratings GmbH non-financial risk management in a 3LoD model.Duties & ResponsibilitiesIdentify, assess, and propose appropriate mitigation/remediation for existing and future risks at Scope Ratings GmbH and its outsourced activities within Scope Group or third-party service providersDesign and track relevant risk KPIs/KRIs with stakeholders and report on performanceEmbed a company appropriate risk management framework at Scope Ratings GmbH, outsourced activities or third-party service providers, encompassing risk appetite and risk tolerance thresholds, risk inventory, risk landscape and action plan, incident management amongst othersDevelop and maintain risk policies, procedures and control frameworksMaintain and moderate the Scope Rating GmbH Risk & Control CommitteeGuide senior management and train stakeholders on risk management through effective collaboration, reports and presentationsWork with all stakeholders across Scope Ratings GmbH and outsourced service providers to embed strong risk management cultureEnsure alignment with regulatory requirementsPrepare and present risk reports to Scope Ratings GmbH boards and relevant further bodies at group levelProfessional & Personal QualificationsAt least 5 years of experience in the financial industryBachelor's or master's degree in business administration or in relevant field of business sciences and/or related work experienceExperience in a regulatory environment is considered a plusBackground as Consultant (Strategic or “Big Four”) is considered a plusStrong organizational, as well as very good analytical skillsUnderstanding of diverse business processes and strategy developmentsProven success in the efficient management of projects and processesExcellent writing skills and ability to process complex information and restitute it in a clear / well-structured mannerWillingness to engage with highly specialized texts (economics, financial analysis)Proactive about learning new skills and improving existing processesStrong team player with high interpersonal and communication skillsLeading to results and focus on solutionsMulti-cultural, collaborative, self-starter, integrity, detail and target-oriented personalityStrong MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) computer skillsExperience in a regulatory environment is considered a plusBackground as Consultant (Strategic or “Big Four”) is considered a plusFluency in at least a major European language (German and / or French preferred) in addition to EnglishInterested?If this sounds like a journey for you, we look forward to learning more from your convincing application.
