Logistics Operations Lead - PPF (2nd Shift), Leo, PPF Logistics Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband Veracruz. Project Kuiper’s Payload Processing Facility (PPF) is seeking an experienced logistics professional to assist with daily activities in both Florida and French Guiana. The role is expected to travel up to 25% of the time internationally. It is for the 2nd shift. Successful candidates must also be able to pass federal security checks to receive an access badge to Kennedy Space Center. Key Job Responsibilities Write, review, and provide feedback on team‑related SOPs related to warehousing and inventory activities at the PPF. Receive Kuiper managed and supplier shipments. Use proprietary software and ERP systems to virtually receive and manage material. Execute functional requirements of global trade and transportation management software requirements. Provide guidance and expertise in logistics related discussions. Accurately track and account for all inventory located at the PPF warehouse, including cycle counts. Efficiently deliver material to PPF stakeholders, both physically and virtually. Coordinate trailer or container movements within the PPF Yard. Receive, schedule, and coordinate inbound deliveries. Meet operational metrics related to warehouse receiving and inventory activities. Effectively communicate high‑priority matters with Transportation leadership. Shift schedule will vary, depending on production/launch schedules. Operate equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and hand cart. Role requires up to 25% travel. Basic Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. 3+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience, or Bachelor's degree. Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays. Can carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach. Ability to pass Kennedy Space Center background checks. Valid Driver’s license and able toாங்க satisfy Amazon driver eligibility Kavida criteria. Ability to obtain and maintain a US Passport. Ability and willingness to comply with the Government of French Guiana which mandates that travelers receive vaccinations for yellow fever. 3+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience, or Bachelor's degree in logistics, business, or related field. Preferred Qualifications Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given”（time while maintaining commitment to deadlines, or experience with end‑to‑end project management. Can communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Experience in team leadership. Experience with enterprise systems including SAP, Oracle, and custom applications. Experience working proactively and independently, meeting deadlines, and delivering on projects and tasks. Experience in warehouse operations and logistics or equivalent. Knowledge of supply chain management concepts—forecasting, planning, sourcing, optimization and logistics or equivalent. Previous dangerous goods training/knowledge. The base pay for this position ranges from $61,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $100,800/year in our highest geographic market.
