Offer Description
The SYMPONY project aims to develop innovative solutions for the design, characterization, and validation of embolizing microparticles for endovascular applications. The project integrates advanced materials, biomimetic microfluidics, predictive modeling, artificial intelligence, and biological and functional characterization methods, with the goal of correlating the physicochemical and mechanical properties of the microparticles with the geometric characteristics of vascular regions and their behavior under controlled flow conditions.
Admission requirement: PhD degree in Electronic Engineering, Optoelectronics, or Photonics, or a degree obtained abroad that the Selection Committee deems equivalent solely for the purpose of the post-doc appointment.
