Innovation and problem solving are key, along with ability to influence and demonstrate strong team working and commitment. The role will also be one of the pivotal roles with the mission of fostering experimentation and adoption of AI in the Company.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initial scope definition to delivery, ensuring that each project meets its agreed objectives, timescales and budget.The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in automation and AI technology, excellent leadership skills, stakeholder management attitude and the ability to manage and motivate a team of automation professionals. The Global IT Manager Intelligent Automation will report to Global IT Director Enterprise Architecture, Data & Automation Technologies member of the IT Leadership Team.Mission/ObjectivesThe role is focused on managing Automation technology to support the initiatives for streamlining operational activities creating efficiency and improving process and user experience.Campari has undertaken a long-term transformation program for Business Process automation and simplification with a strong partnership of the IT and Global Business Service (GBS) functions that will ensure the process improvement supported by AI and Automation technology.The role is also pivotal to accelerate the adoption and the governance of AI technology (especially GenAI) in collaboration with the AI Advisory Hub.The Global IT Manager Intelligent Automation is a crucial role for:Designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions using RPA, AI, Low Code Technology and ML toolsWorking closely with GBS, Business and technology teams to identify and assess potential automation opportunitiesManaging the complete lifecycle of automation projects, from ideation to deployment and maintenanceCreating and maintaining automation documentation, including design documents and technical specificationsMonitoring and analyzing the performance of automation solutions, and making improvements as necessaryProviding training and support to end users of automation solutionsProposing AI use case experimentationKeeping up to date with advancements in automation technology and best practicesEnsuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations in the implementation of automation solutionsManaging status update presentation with several stakeholders and responsible for the SteerCo preparation in partnership with GBS functionPartnering with other IT teams to implement end-to-end solutions, especially with SAP Platform, Integration Platform, Data Platform and other IT COEsEnsuring budget & vendors management, in collaboration with the governance teamCoordinating internal stakeholders and external providers to deliver and maintain technology landscapeExperience & Education10+ years of proven experience as an Intelligent Automation Manager or similar roleStrong knowledge of intelligent automation, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, preferably Microsoft Technology and OpenAIExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong leadership and project management abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related fieldExperience of working as part of a multi-cultural and geographically dispersed teamKnowledge of IT strategies, standards and policies, organizational structures, and processesPreferred experience of Consumer Goods companies and related solutions and processesFluent English is a must, Italian knowledge is a plus, as a third European languageAdditional RequirementsAvailability to travel internationally if needed.Our commitment to Diversity & InclusionAt Campari Group we believe in building more value together, thus we see diversity in all forms as a source of enrichment.
