Listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, it is present in more than 50 countries around the world and employs about 30,000 people of over 130 nationalities.Purpose of the positionAs HSE Engineer, you will report to the HSE Manager and be part of the Prevention and Protection Services Team within the HSEQ Function. You will contribute to the implementation of Saipem’s HSE standards, overseeing the management of offices in Italy for all Saipem business organisations.ResponsibilitiesEnsure the application of Saipem HSE standards in compliance with the workplace environment.Support the preparation, implementation and monitoring of HSE Procedures (for Saipem S.p.A. and Saipem Group).Ensure support to general services during daily inspections of activities carried out at the various offices, verifying compliance with HSE standards, Permit-to-Work system, risk assessments and method statements.Promote HSE awareness through toolbox talks, training sessions and campaigns.Contribute to incident reporting, investigation and follow‑up of corrective actions.Participate in risk assessments and pre‑task briefings regarding measures in compliance with Legislative Decree 81/08, ensuring adherence to legal health and safety requirements.Provide technical advice to construction teams and disciplinary superintendents on safe execution of activities.Participation in audits with third‑parties for safety (45001, SA8000) or internal audits for regulatory compliance or certificate renewal.Coordination of contracts within the buildings.What are we looking for?EducationMaster’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Safety Engineering or similar field.ExperienceAt least 1–2 years of experience as HSE/Safety Engineer preferably in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, or Industrial sectors.ASPP Module A and Module B.LanguagesGood command of English and Italian (written and spoken).Technical SkillsKnowledge of HSE regulations (Italian legislative framework and EU directives).Familiarity with risk assessment and emergency response.Nice to have a background in HSE audits, inspections and incident investigations.IT SkillsProficiency in MS Office Suite.Availability for travel to the Fano (PU) office.What can we offer to you?Contract: Fixed term.Corporate Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, internal gym, discounts and partnerships, services related to health, family, well‑being, and in‑house cafeteria.Hybrid working model: Smart Working options and flexible hours to help you achieve a better work‑life balance.Our One Saipem Way soft skills model leverages on skills development, career growth, opportunities to innovate through complex challenges by promoting communication and collaboration to achieve common goals.Location: Milan, Italy.Additional InformationOur One Saipem Way soft skills model leverages on skills development, career growth, opportunities to innovate through complex challenges by promoting communication and collaboration to achieve common goals.We support your developmentDo you feel you might not fit this role perfectly?
