Your Contribution To Prysmian's Success We are looking for a Mechanical Testing Engineer to join our HQ team based in Quattordio (AL). Reporting directly to the R&D testing laboratory Director you will: Be in charge of mechanical tests on submarine cable systems to assess their capability to withstand mechanical stresses. Set up optimized test circuit, measure instruments and liaise with the internal customers / engineering teams (HQ departments or local R&D) to understand the Project needs. Coordinate laboratory operators involved in the testing, run the testing activities and analyse the test results. Define the scheduling of the tests and lead R&D related projects. You Are The Right Fit If You Have/are Around 2 years of experience in testing laboratories. Fluent in English both written and spoken. A master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred. Strong communication & interpersonal skills. Decision making attitude, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong teamwork skills, results oriented and ambitious mindset.
