Saipem is listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, is present in more than 50 countries and employs about 30,000 people of over 130 nationalities.Purpose of the PositionAs Project Quality Engineer, you will report to the Quality Manager and be part of the Encar within E&C Onshore Bid Quality Management. You will manage and support a team of three people.ResponsibilitiesProvide the necessary back-up to the Project Quality Manager (PQM) regarding quality contractual issues both during tender and project execution phase.Support the PQM for the following activities:Ensure the definition and implementation of the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) and the identification, preparation and distribution of needed Project Quality Plans and procedures in accordance with the Company Quality Management System (QMS).Ensure that the correct implementation of the PQMS is checked and monitored through the planning of quality audits.Within the project organization, plan activities aimed at promoting the applicable Contractual Quality Requirements.Participate in Project Management meetings to ensure coordination between Quality activities and Project Management activities.Ensure the issue of quality requirements to be incorporated in the contractual documents with Vendors and Subcontractors and organizations in charge of works.Ensure that the integrity of the Company QMS is maintained when changes are made to the system for the project.Ensure the correct implementation of planned quality audits, taking into account all project processes, including the issue of relevant audit reports.Conduct external audits of Vendor and Subcontractor QMS.Ensure management of nonconformities.Promote appropriate actions, including quality investigations, to prevent or eliminate potential non‑conformities and their causes.Ensure the management of the Cost of Non‑Quality process.Ensure knowledge and awareness of Quality requirements within the Project Team, also performing Quality Training activities.Collect and analyse project quality data in order to organize and lead the Project Quality Management Review.Ensure the management of the lessons‑learned process through the Reflex tool.Ensure Customer satisfaction process implementation.Report project information and data to the Company’s Quality Manager by means of Corporate methodologies and tools.Education & QualificationsEducation: Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Economics, or scientific disciplines.Experience: 5 years in a similar role within oil and gas.Languages: Italian and English.Technical SkillsFamiliarity with applicable industry regulations and standards; specialization in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001); leadership, communication, organization, attention to detail, and teamwork.IT SkillsDatabase Management, System Administration.Travel & LocationYou will have the opportunity to travel abroad based on the projects you will work for and within the (xxx scope) assigned.
