Essential Responsibilities Supplier Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality Development Act as primary interface between supplier and GE Avio Aero for any quality issues. Work in collaboration with Sourcing and Engineering, Manufacturing to eliminate roadblocks and barrier, develop compliance solutions to complex problems, and lead the RCCA process. Approve supplier selection through robust qualification processes and part qualification. Ensure suppliers comply with quality requirements, including technical regulation and standards by owning the surveillance and performing quality audits. Proactive monitoring of supplier performance to ensure they remain in a state of control. Lead efforts to drive improvement and develop & assess quality metrics, KPIs and reports associated with suppliers. Implement Supplier Quality Plans. All other duties as assigned by manager. Qualifications/Requirements Master’s degree in Mechanics or Materials/Chemical Engineering with metallurgical orientation. Previous experience in the same role in automotive or aerospace companies. Experience/knowledge of forging and casting processes. Ability to read technical drawings and regulations fluently. Basic knowledge of Quality tools. Basic knowledge of measurement methods and inspection techniques. Fluency in English and Italian. Availability for frequent travel within the EU and abroad. Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required. Desired Characteristics Ability to work in a global environment. Leadership with supplier duties.
