Based in Italy, particularly at the Emicon plant in Meldola, and covering sites such as Meldola, Piove di Sacco, and Massa Martana, we are seeking a talented BUYER who shares our values and has an innovative capacity to work within a diverse team.Work Experience & Education RequirementsEducation and experience: A Bachelor of Science degree in technical, engineering, or business disciplines is preferred; a Master’s degree is a plus.5+ years of professional experience in procurement and material management roles is preferred.Personality Traits and Practical ExperienceOutstanding numerical, analytical, organizational, project management, and negotiation skills.Experience in resolving materials flow issues within a matrix organization.Ability to influence others and build productive, motivated, and high-performance teams.Self-motivated, disciplined, able to work independently under pressure, and committed to high standards.Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships internally and externally.Strong problem identification and resolution skills, with sound judgment and decision-making abilities.Customer-centric focus, accountability, innovation, adaptability, positive energy, respect, teamwork, and integrity.Role ResponsibilitiesThis role involves executing direct and indirect materials purchasing and procurement for assigned sites, ensuring alignment with replenishment, logistics, and inventory controls approved by ETS Supply Chain.Key Responsibilities and DeliverablesManage supplier relationships to drive efficiency and cost reductions.Implement contracts, standard terms, preferred payment terms, and Incoterms in line with business strategies.Issue purchase orders, ensure approval compliance, and communicate with suppliers regarding expediting and inventory control.Ensure material availability to support site production, collaborating with internal stakeholders and vendors to coordinate activities and resolve issues.Analyze purchase requisitions to identify negotiation opportunities and manage supplier price increase requests.Maintain inventory stock levels according to replenishment strategies defined with category leaders.#J-18808-Ljbffr
