With over 30 years of expertise, they specialise in IT and space services, offering operational and engineering support for Earth observation, satellite data processing, and applied R&D.As an IV&V System Engineer, you will be responsible for system validation, test planning, and technical documentation in support of critical engineering activities. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact space applications while working in a dynamic, international environment.Your tasksDefine verification planning and establish test pass criteriaWrite and review operational and functional proceduresPerform test evaluation and result analysisProvide software support to engineering teamsInterface with all subsystems during AIV phasesSupport operational and pre-operational phasesAuthor and maintain technical documentationYour skills and experienceTo be successful in this role, you will need :2-5 years of experience in a relevant fieldStrong understanding of System Engineering and Ground Segment subsystemsExperience working in Linux environments and virtualised infrastructures (e.g., VMware)Familiarity with the ECSS AIV processFamiliarity with logistics, supply chain, and technical documentation managementUniversity degree in Aerospace, Telecommunications, Electronics, or Computer Science & EngineeringFull professional proficiency in English (≥ B2)Nice to have :Experience in space or defence projectsExposure to Ground Segment operationsPersonal Skills :Proactive and solution-driven mindset for problem-solving and troubleshooting.Accountability and goal-oriented approach, taking full ownership of assigned tasks.Excellent customer liaison capability and ability to thrive in a team-oriented setting.Sharp and curious mind, eager to explore innovative solutions.Willingness to relocate to Rome (where applicable) and start a project with visibility until January 2026.Extra informationWork location : Rome (Tor Tre Teste area – well connected by public transport and with parking available)Work mode : 5 days per week on-siteType of contract : fixed-term of freelanceCompetitive corporate benefits package.Participate in exclusive company events and networking opportunities.Work on groundbreaking space industry projects with international impact.Exciting career in a specialized and highly innovative field.Please note that, due to the sensitive nature of the data involved, this position is currently available only to individuals who meet the following criteria :EU CitizensNon-EU Citizens already based in EU with a valid work permitOnce we receive your CV, we will take time to evaluate it carefully.
