We're looking for a Senior QA Engineer who thinks like an engineer, not a tester - someone who can break systems, automate everything, and raise the bar on reliability for products used by millions. What You'll Own: Design and scale automation from the ground up using Playwright or Cypress Engineer high-signal, low-noise test suites - fast, stable, CI-friendly Hardening the platform: API-level validation, data consistency checks, and SQL-powered testing of backend flows Shift-left influence: You'll be embedded early in design discussions, shaping architecture for testability and resilience Observability-driven QA: Use logs, metrics, and traces to debug complex distributed behaviors CI/CD excellence: Make testing an integral part of the release pipeline, not an afterthought Technical mentorship: Level up engineers around you on quality, automation, and debugging Experimentation: Bring in AI-driven testing tools, synthetic generation, or any innovation that moves the needle What You Bring: Deep experience building automated test systems for complex, distributed, cloud-native applications Strong coding fundamentals (JavaScript/TypeScript preferred) and the ability to write clean, maintainable automation Expertise in API testing, contract validation, and data-layer verification Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling, containers, and modern delivery practices A product mindset: you care about user experience, reliability, and real-world behavior Curiosity, autonomy, and the drive to own quality end-to-end Why MotorK: Impact: Your work affects real customers, real dealerships, and real revenue Velocity: Fast engineering cycles, high autonomy, direct influence on architecture and direction Innovation runway: We're evolving into an AI-native engineering organization - your ideas can define our next generation of quality systems MotorK is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Prohibits Discrimination and Harassment of Any kind.
