We also have a subsidiary in Milan, Italy, where this position is based.Our SynchroGuard solution is the first monitoring and automation system for electrical distribution grids. Based on the most advanced monitoring technology currently available, Phasor Measurement Units (PMUs), SynchroGuard provides instant visibility into distribution grids performance, helps integrate more renewables and EVs, and, thanks to unique fault location algorithms, reduces the impact of blackouts.Position OverviewWe are looking for a skilled Go Backend Software Developer to craft our new platform and deliver to our customers high quality software code embracing modern software architectures (microservices, function as a service, event driven, etc.).Key ResponsibilitiesTranslate requirements into well‑crafted code.Develop microservices to manage smart grids data.Integrate components to deliver a fully functional platform.Discuss fine‑grained design choice with the Architect.Document and maintain software functionalities.Apply test‑driven development and maintain unit and functional tests.Take part to team code reviews.Required Skills and Experience5+ years experience in delivering high quality software.Proficiency in Go programming language.Knowledge of microservice event‑driven architectures.Mastering of Docker.Solid experience with git.Experience writing automation or tooling in Python.Familiarity with agile approaches.Experience with securing microservices.Ability to interact with front end developers.Understanding of the power‑system domain (e.g., grid operations, or electrical system modeling).What We OfferBeing part of a company committed in heart and mind to contribute to a sustainable future.Flexible work location and hours, with at least one day per week in presence in Milan.Allowance for home office (large screen, keyboard, etc.).Allowance for trainings and certifications.Easy interaction with management to provide and receive constructive and direct feedback.Do you want to apply?Fill up our online form.
