Regional Cooling Service Expert (Data Center Cooling)2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Direct message the job poster from Schneider Electric ResponsibilitiesProvide on-site services for Schneider Electric cooling products, including commissioning, technical on-site analysis, and resolution of customer issues. Focus on complex and critical projects, troubleshooting and providing on-site support for Cooling Equipment & Systems (air cooling, air‑ or water‑cooled chillers, CRAC/CRAH units). Possibility to work remotely. Extensive international travel (70%) within Europe – Germany, France, BENELUX, Northern Europe, UK, and others (financial bonus for traveling). EU passport holder required. Perform startup and commissioning on all equipment across the entire cooling product range. Evaluate unit installation (quality of pipes, hydraulic circuit of chillers). Evaluate system installation and operational conditions. Perform on‑site adjustments to bring units to optimal running conditions. Identify failure causes: quality issue, software issue, or operation condition issue (Root Cause Analysis). Collaborate with Schneider Electric service engineers and partners during site interventions. Properly document, label, and return defective parts to designated disposal/repair location. Train customers on basic equipment operations. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for cooling systems. RequirementsThorough understanding of HVAC principles, especially cooling, and basic knowledge of electricity. Ability to perform duties with general direction; work is usually independent of other team members. Compliance with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business procedures, professional documents, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and handle multiple abstract and concrete variables. Willingness to travel internationally for 70% of the working time (EU passport holder required). Education & ExperienceUniversity education – Mechanical or Electrotechnical (degree level). At least 5 years of experience in commissioning or field service repair with HVAC or cooling equipment. Confirmed experience with Cooling Equipment & Solutions (air cooling, air‑ or water‑cooled chillers). Experience with precision cooling is a real advantage. Experience with HVAC, generators, fire detection/suppression. Flexibility & reliability, focus on technical details & customer focus, team player, leadership skills.
