Mid/Senior Backend Developer - SECO Mind - Padua SECO Mind We are looking for someone to join our software development team in Padua. The candidate will be responsible for developing the backend of our open source products at Elixir and will participate in internal R&D activities. The ideal candidate has previous experience in backend web development, whether in a professional, academic, or open source context. SECO Mind is a young and innovative company that develops technically cutting‑edge products in the IoT and AI fields, using innovative and challenging technologies. In its daily operations, particular attention is paid to best practices and the quality of the software developed. Continuous training, continuing education, and workplace well‑being are considered core values of this organization. The possibility of working in an agile way is offered. RequirementsKnowledge of a backend development language of your choice, such as Ruby, Java, NodeJS, Go, etc., and related frameworks (Rails, Spring, etc.), is required. Previous knowledge of the Elixir language is not required; instead, a study and training program will be organized to acquire the necessary skills. Design and implementation of REST APIs Knowledge of the main best practices for secure development and the main types of vulnerabilities SQL database design and analysis Knowledge of the most common design patterns Ability to identify the most suitable technology stacks already present on the market to solve a given problem or need Ability to design or discuss (also in English) a software architecture Knowledge of git Using Docker Nice to haveThe following optional skills will also be appreciated: Active participation in conferences or meetups Management of Kubernetes clusters Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (or solutions from other major players) Knowledge of a functional language With humor Although not a prerequisite, advanced theoretical knowledge on topics such as IoT, distributed systems, big data, cyber security, cryptography, etc., acquired in an academic setting (within specialized courses, thesis projects, doctoral programs, etc.) will be positively evaluated.#J-18808-Ljbffr
