LuxExperience is currently looking for an HRIS Specialist to join the global HRIS Team supporting the business across group brands and office locations worldwide. Key Information Location: Zola Predosa (Bologna) or Milan Team Size: 4 resources (approx.) Reporting to: HR IS Director Working Model: Hybrid Contract Type: Fixed Term – 1 year Potential Start Date: January 2026 Role Purpose Our Workday landscape comprises HCM, Recruiting, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Performance Management and Time and Attendance. The HRIS function is also responsible for data analysis and producing critical reports/dashboards for the organisation. As an HRIS Specialist you will support users from across our global locations to get the most out of Workday. In addition to supporting our user base you will be involved in configuring business processes and suggesting improvements to our overall configuration. What You’ll Be Doing Support upgrades, testing, validation and overall system performance. Work and support semi‑annual Workday updates. Provide production support and work on troubleshooting and resolving critical issues. Perform configuration/setup of business processes and master data. Liaise with a third‑party Application Management Supplier (AMS) to schedule and manage configuration requirements where additional resource is required. Design and maintain Workday HR application security. Notify Workday of system issues, providing detailed examples when required. Maintain data integrity in system by running regular audits and error monitoring. Develop and maintain user support materials (‘how to’ documents, videos). The Type of Person We Are Looking For Previous hands‑on HRIS configuration experience in a fast‑paced business environment; prior experience with Workday HCM is highly preferred. Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors (nice to have). Significant experience in process re‑engineering (familiarity with HR processes is a strong plus). System testing and configuration experience. Solid experience with MS Office Suite; intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel – including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables – is mandatory. Outstanding analytical abilities, precision, a results‑driven orientation and an aptitude for problem‑solving. Confidence with technology and a fast‑learner attitude. Experience handling sensitive data and a trustworthy approach. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Fluent English and Italian are mandatory; knowledge of German language will be considered a plus.
