Enterprise Architect Sap

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect with deep development and operational expertise in SAP and commonly deployed associated services. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor and technical leader, responsible for aligning business strategy with enterprise technology solutions. This role requires strong architecture, integration, and operational management skills across SAP landscapes, as well as proven experience in leading and managing SAP development programs. The Enterprise Architect will guide cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise platforms.Your ResponsibilitiesArchitecture & StrategyDefine, maintain, and evolve the enterprise architecture roadmap for SAP systems and their integrations.Align SAP solutions with overall IT and business strategy, ensuring scalability, performance, and compliance.Provide architecture governance and design assurance for SAP-related programs and projects.SAP Development LeadershipLead, and oversee SAP development programs, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business requirements.Define and enforce standards, frameworks, and best practices for SAP custom development, enhancements, and integrations.Partner with development teams to guide solution design, code quality, testing, and deployment.Ensure that development initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and meet defined quality standards.Solution Design & IntegrationLead solution architecture for SAP modules (e.g., S / 4HANA, MES, DM, SD, SRM, SCM, SAP Analytics, SAP Cloud Platform) and associated services (databases, middleware, cloud services, APIs).Ensure seamless integration between SAP and enterprise platforms (Salesforce, CRM, MES, Data Lakes, Identity & Access Management, etc.).Establish patterns and best practices for SAP deployments in hybrid cloud / on-prem environments.Operations & PerformanceOversee operational performance, resilience, and availability of SAP systems.Guide infrastructure sizing, monitoring, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.Collaborate with operations teams to improve SLAs, incident response, and lifecycle management.Leadership & CollaborationPartner with business stakeholders, program managers, and solution architects to deliver end-to-end enterprise solutions.Provide thought leadership and mentoring for architects, developers, and operations engineers.Serve as the escalation point for complex SAP technical, development, and architectural issues.Governance & ComplianceEnsure adherence to enterprise security standards, regulatory compliance, and data governance policies.Evaluate and recommend emerging SAP technologies and services to drive innovation and value.Your BackgroundBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.10+ years of SAP technical experience with expertise across multiple modules and platforms.Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or senior solution architect in large-scale, global enterprises.Demonstrated leadership in managing SAP development programs, including design, build, test, and deployment phases.Deep expertise in SAP development, operations, and integration with associated enterprise services (databases, middleware, data analytics platforms, identity management, etc.).Experience with SAP S / 4HANA migration, SAP Cloud Platform, and hybrid cloud deployments.Strong knowledge of ITIL, TOGAF, or similar enterprise architecture frameworks.Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.Preferred QualificationsSAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Specialist, SAP HANA, SAP S / 4HANA).Hands-on experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) in SAP hosting and development scenarios.Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR).Prior experience in manufacturing, energy, or industrial operations environments.What’s in it for you?Work with the best specialists in their field, in a diverse environment with unparalleled global reach.
