Must reside in the state of Arizona. Shift: Nights FC Mon-Thu 10hr 1400Key Job ResponsibilitiesMaintain comprehensive customer profiles including current and past medical history, clinical and laboratory data, and concurrent medications (including over-the-counter and home remedies)Evaluate physician medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential interactions, and route of administration. Make recommendations for therapy changes to the prescriber as appropriateOperate and troubleshoot pharmacy automation systemsUtilize, monitor, and troubleshoot automated dispensing and fulfillment systems to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely preparation of prescription ordersCollaborate with pharmacy technicians and engineering teams to resolve automation issues, optimize workflows, and maintain compliance with quality and safety standardsDispense controlled substances and maintain regulatory complianceAccurately dispense controlled substances in accordance with DEA regulations and state-specific lawsMaintain thorough, timely, and auditable records of all controlled substance transactions, including inventory management, reconciliation, and reporting requirementsProvide clinical support:Answer clinical questions and provide guidanceCollaborate with healthcare team membersDocument all healthcare team communicationsInvestigate and resolve medication errorsAdditional responsibilities:Implement policies and procedures in accordance with state and federal lawsMaintain required regulatory documentationParticipate in continuous improvement initiativesSupport pharmacy operations across departments as neededPhysical requirements may include ability to perform warehouse work and lift at least 20 poundsBasic QualificationsBachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degreeActive and unrestricted Pharmacy License in state of employment (additional licenses may be required)Proficiency with basic computer functions and pharmacy systemsExemplary interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsPreferred QualificationsUnderstanding of pharmacy laws and federal/state regulationsAbility to manage high call volume while maintaining quality customer serviceAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. The Colorado base pay for this position ranges from $103,800/year up to $146,400/year. The National base pay for this position ranges from $93,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $161,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
