Production Area Manager

We are seeking a Production Area Manager to lead and develop specific department of our production operations, ensuring a safe and efficient manufacturing process and a performing team. In the fast-paced environment of chemical manufacturing, the production area manager plays a critical role in managing employees and organizing workflows to optimize daily activities while controlling costs. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of complex operations and demonstrate the ability to drive safety, productivity and quality. The ultimate objective is to ensure that production processes consistently deliver high-quality products in a cost-effective and profitable manner. Key Responsibilities Organize and develop production activities to ensure safe and efficient manufacturing operations. Lead, motivate, and manage production teams to meet production targets, quality standards, and deadlines. Monitor and optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations. Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Analyze production data and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce downtime. Ensure proper training and development of team members to maintain high performance and technical competence. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain. Prepare and maintain production reports, documentation, and compliance records. Promote a culture of safety, proactivity, and accountability within the production area. Qualifications And Skills Master’s degree in Engineering (Automation, Mechanical, Chemical, or related field). Proven experience of 3-5 years in a supervisory role within a chemical manufacturing or similar industrial environment. Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing plant operations and maintenance practices. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Proactive approach with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance in chemical manufacturing. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively. Proficient in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
