We offer a competitive salary, an annual bonus based on company performance, healthcare and wellbeing programmes, pension plan membership, and shares and savings programme.We embrace modern work practises; our Performance with Choice programme offers a hybrid working model, empowering you to find the optimal balance between remote and in-office work.Discover more about our company wide benefits and life at GSK on our webpage Life at GSK | GSKScope:To support delivery of Capital Projects within the site capital project team.In this role you will:Coordinating the submission of Building Control and Planning applicationsCoordination of Procurement Plan preparation and submission to GSKPreparation / update of Health and Safety FileIssuing and receiving of permitsCoordination of change controlCoordinating and leading site surveys by sub-contractorsLeading and coordinating stage gate reviewsCoordinating Constructability ReviewsCoordinating FATs and attendance by team membersResponsible for the safe delivery of projects to budget and scheduleEnsure good communication between engineering disciplinesMaintain effective dialogue with other project engineersEnsure an effective risk management process is adoptedEnsure adherence to HSE requirements within sphere of influenceEffective coordination of all elements of the project, with a hands‑on, can‑do attitude where necessaryGood stakeholder management and client interfacing during pre‑construction, construction, commissioning and validationDevelopment of relationships with internal and external customers and organisationsResponsible for ensuring delivery of scopes in line with department KPIs, as far as the PE can influence.Ensure compliance with all relevant EHS and Quality proceduresEnsuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies, including the Construction (Design and Management) 2015 regulations and other relevant Law.Implementing and maintaining safety measures, including carrying out risk assessments and ensuring all construction and demolition works are carried out under an approved safe system of works.Managing resources effectively, including securing site‑based resources and coordinating with production for downtime requirements.Managing a team within the Capital Plan function, as well as Project Managers.Why you?Qualifications & Skills:We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:Degree in an appropriate discipline of Engineering, or HNC/D in an appropriate discipline or equivalent experience.Engineering experience and experience of project delivery(Cost, Resource, Schedule, Risk).Demonstrable experience in the management of multi‑disciplined pharmaceutical projects or other relevant industries is strongly preferred.Knowledge of the site QMS and Regulatory Requirements (Safety and Quality) relative to the defined process.Experience in change management methodology and advocate of GPS principles.Knowledge of historical, current, and anticipated manufacturing plant and equipment.
