At SolaX, a global organization, your career can reach its full potential.Position OverviewThe BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) Sales Manager/Specialist is responsible for driving business development and sales growth for commercial, industrial, and utility-scale energy storage projects. This role requires strong technical understanding of BESS solutions and the ability to engage with EPCs, developers, utilities, and investors to identify opportunities and deliver value-based proposals.Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute regional sales strategies for BESS solutions in line with company objectives.- Identify and build relationships with key stakeholders including EPCs, IPPs, developers, utilities, and financial investors.- Lead the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.- Collaborate with internal technical, product, and marketing teams to develop customized solutions and proposals.- Monitor market trends, policy updates, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.- Prepare and deliver technical and commercial presentations to customers and partners.- Participate in industry exhibitions, conferences, and webinars to promote brand visibility.- Provide accurate sales forecasting and pipeline reporting to management.- Support after-sales communication to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.Qualifications and Requirements- Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Energy, Business Administration, or related field.- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in BESS, solar, or renewable energy system sales (utility or C&I scale preferred).- Strong knowledge of battery technologies, inverters, EMS, and grid integration concepts.- Proven track record in business development and contract negotiation for energy projects.- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently in a dynamic environment.- Proficiency in English; additional languages (e.g., Chinese, French, Spanish, or German) are a plus.- Willingness to travel regionally and internationally as required.What We Offer- Competitive compensation package with performance-based incentives.- Opportunity to work in a fast-growing global clean energy company.- Exposure to advanced energy storage technologies and international markets.- Professional development and career growth opportunities.
