JOB PURPOSEReporting to the IT Operations Lead, our recently launched Luxury Cruises line of MSC, the IT Systems Engineering Specialist will be involved in building out, maintaining, and troubleshooting our rapidly expanding IT infrastructure, ensuring the highest level of availability, performance, and security.RESPONSIBILITIESGuarantee of technical quality in IT operations projectsManagement and monitoring of all installed systems and infrastructure for Explora Journeys, considering established guidelines or SOP (standard operating procedure)Assurance of systems and infrastructure availability at the highest levelsRelay of Cybersecurity for management of threats and vulnerabilities remediationsCollaboration with team members (operations, architecture, product owners), suppliers, and Business stakeholders with a focus on continuous improvementApplication of industry best practices for change management processQUALIFICATIONS1-2 years experience in a similar position with experience supporting the deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructures/systems and usersA bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subjectExperience with Cloud OperationsExperience with Application and Infrastructure monitoringAdditional knowledge or experience in the field of application, scripting and advanced log management is a plusProven experience in cruises industry is requiredFluent in English, oral and written.
