Key Job Responsibilities AWS Hardware Engineering is looking for a leader to drive a team to deliver best‑in‑class hardware designs from inception, through manufacturing, implementation, and maturation, and eventually deprecation. You will be responsible for ensuring all core hardware components meet or exceed the high‑quality bar, ensuring a healthy fleet of EC2 servers. You will organize and lead a team of skilled hardware development engineers to partner with silicon suppliers, ODMs, and internal customers to meet our roadmap. In this role, you will define implementation strategies and report status frequently to senior leadership. Your work will directly enable AWS to launch its next‑generation server designs. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $157,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $283,200/year in our highest geographic market.
