PES ENGINEERING was born from the Engineering Division of PES, founded in 1979, and currently has over 140 resources in its permanent engineering staff, boasting significant experience in the Oil & Gas, Power, Renewable Energy, Chemical, Petrochemical and Automotive sectors.

PES ENGINEERING provides technical and engineering services (Civil, Rotary Machines, Static Equipment, Process, HSE Design, Electro-instrumental, Layout & Piping), offering over 200,000 engineering hours per year to all major Oil & Gas Companies, EPC Contractors, Industrial Manufacturers, etc.

Currently, PES ENGINEERING has 8 Locations in Italy: HQ in Rosignano Solvay (LI), San Donato Milanese, Florence, Rome, Bari, Livorno, Vibo Marina (VV), Gela. In the near future, it will also open an office in Abu Dhabi to be closer to its main customers and extend its reach.

Abroad, PES ENGINEERING is present in 3 countries (UK, Romania, UAE). In addition, a series of strategic partnerships, signed in practically all continents, support the Company to perform multidisciplinary engineering, service management, inspection & expediting, recruitment & hiring of local personnel.

QC Senior Engineer Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure the correct management, in the quality area, of the contract(s) assigned to him/her, planning, coordinating and controlling the project in order to guarantee its completion in accordance with the contractual specifications.
  2. Manage the interface with the Client for all quality issues.
  3. Provide technical support to projects (meetings with Client, Contractors, troubleshooting etc.)
  4. Check the adequacy and compliance of the technical documentation issued by the Contractors with respect to the Project Specifications and Company Standards.
  5. Support standard preparation activities and procedures.
  6. Coordinate Quality Control activities.
  7. Supervise and monitor inspection and testing activities on structures and process plants.
  8. Ensure compliance of the works with quality standards and project specifications.
  9. Draft reports and technical documentation in English.
  10. Interact with the project team.
  11. Availability for short trips on both a national and international basis.
Required Skills:
  1. The resource must have proven experience in the completion of OIL&GAS projects and technical skills related to piping erection, valve testing, pressure vessels, rotating machines and test packs, flange management, electro-instrumental and ATEX testing.
  2. Consolidated experience as QA/QC Coordinator in the industrial sector, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
  3. In-depth knowledge of regulations, procedures and best practices for the Quality Control of structures and process plants.
  4. Familiarity with the use of inspection and non-destructive testing (NDT) tools and techniques.
  5. Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
  6. CSWIP or IWI certification (desirable).
