Vhernier jewellery is sold in seventeen mono-brand boutiques in key cities of the world, including Milan, Rome, Geneva, Paris, New York, Miami, Beverly Hills, Dubai, and through a network of selected and prestigious multi-brand retailers worldwide.De Vecchi Founded in 1935 in Milan by Piero de Vecchi and headquartered in Milan is an Italian silversmith designer recognized for its unique contemporary design. De Vecchi creates design products for home and jewellery. As of today, the business is small and underdeveloped. The company has one showroom in Milano and partly distributes its products through the main Vhernier boutiques.How will you make an impact?Develop and maintain meaningful reporting tools to drive management targets and allow the team to rely on data resources for the explanation of performance. Identify the most effective way to read the business and its key drivers. Constantly and proactively support the business with ad/hoc analysis, accurate and timely information critical to business leader's decision making. Share insight and analyse data to create actionable recommendationsProvide commercial analysis, develop growth targets, and evaluate strategic initiativesOversee the company’s cost management processes. This includes identifying cost-saving opportunities, creating cost reduction strategies and implementing processes to ensure that the company has the most efficient and effective cost structure possibleProvide working capital analysis related to the inventory. Identify and develop tools for the inventory monitoring and analysis and keep an updated track record of its breakdown by business dimensions, ageing, product life cycleManage independently the forecasting and budgeting process driving financial resultsAnalyse daily, weekly and monthly performance, monitor trends and propose action plans to improve profitability and cash generation as well as corrective action plans if necessary. Support, monitor and follow up the executionPlay a key role in the preparation of capital Investment projects, providing financial insights to support the decision processWork in conjunction with the Reporting teams to ensure proper and accurate P&L/BS management during the closing periodFocus on standardization and automatization of processes and continuous improvement with the support of appropriate IT tools. Implementation of automation and sharing of best practices.How will you experience success with us? Master’s degree in appropriate discipline (Accounting, Finance, Engineering). Qualified ACA /ACCA/ CIMA / CPA is a plusSolid relevant experience in FP&A/Financial Controlling & Reporting Solid financial background and business acumenA robust analytical skill-setFluent in Italian and English. French is a plusExcellent modelling skills (Microsoft Office Excel, Knowledge of VBA/Power BI is a plus. Knowledge of Dynamic Business Central 365 is also a plus) Strong attention to details and analytical backgroundAbility to work with tight deadlines, consistently meeting deadlines on multiple projects and activitiesAble to effectively work as a team member with a high level of proactivityEntrepreneurship and agile mindset What makes our group different?
