We are looking for a System Engineer with a background in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a similar field, and 1–2 years of experience in the Automotive sector. Key Responsibilities Leading the development and implementation of advanced Connectivity System features/functions. Ensuring that the function is aligned with the overall business strategy and goals. Project status reporting in internal and external meetings. Writing Requirements and Functional Specifications. Interfacing with stakeholders to discuss system architecture(s) through workshops and design meetings. Issue tracking and defect analysis. Analyzing and evaluating performance to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for changes. Supplier steering and coordination. Required Qualifications Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering or similar. 1-2 year of experience in the Automotive field (Tier1/OEMs). Knowledge of Connectivity/Infotainment System Architecture including hardware, software and user interfaces. Knowledge of operating system concepts, such as process management, memory management, file systems and power management. Knowledge of automotive standard protocols, such as CAN and Ethernet. Knowledge of security principles and best practices for securing Linux systems. Experience with version control systems, such as Git. Experience with debugging and troubleshooting complex systems. Knowledge of open-source software development and licensing. Experience with software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall. Knowledge of software programming languages, such as C, C++, Python, and Java. Knowledge of embedded systems and real-time operating systems. Knowledge of project management tools, such as Jira. Familiarity with GNU/Linux and Android operating systems. Familiarity with software testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing. Soft Skills Sense of integrity and responsibility. Take on responsibility, work independently, being able to share achievements with the team. Show initiative and work in a structured way. Language skills: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken English is mandatory. Workplace: Turin (TO) with availability to travel in Italy and abroad. #J-18808-Ljbffr
