Our ambition is to be the benchmark for mountain sports in both summer and winter.Position: Apparel Fit Specialist (M/F) Reporting to the Product Development Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring fit and sizing meet Rossignol standards. You will work closely with designers, product developers, merchandisers and manufacturers to create fit specifications that meet the end use of Rossignol Apparel. You’ll work cross-functionally, have strong communication skills, and possess a strong understanding of garment construction, pattern making skills and performance fit requirements.ResponsibilitiesInterpret and execute design intent to align fit with functional and aesthetic goalsLead and conduct garment fit sessions using live models and mannequins, analyzing fit, balance, and constructionDevelop and maintain precise measurement specifications and grading rules to guarantee consistency across stylesEvaluate samples from first prototypes through pre‑production to ensure optimal fit and provide clear improvement directives to vendorsDocument and communicate detailed fit comments and recommendations to garment vendorsCollaborate with the development team to create and maintain fit blocks and a comprehensive block libraryMaintain consistency in fit standards and grading accuracy across all product categoriesRefine patterns, troubleshoot fit challenges, and propose effective solutions to uphold fit qualityEnsure garments meet end‑use requirements, including appropriate range of motion and performance standardsPartner with vendors to implement pattern adjustments based on fit analysisDeliver clear, concise feedback to internal teams and external partners regarding fit corrections and improvementsKeep fit standards current and aligned with brand expectationsCollaborate closely with designers, developers, merchandisers, and vendors throughout the product development processQualificationsDegree in patternmaking, apparel engineering, or a related fieldMinimum 3 years of experience in patternmaking for technical garments, ideally within performance apparelProven expertise in technical patternmaking, with a strong understanding of range of motion and garment functionalityProficiency in patternmaking software, Microsoft Office, and Adobe IllustratorHighly collaborative, with a passion for building and maintaining strong internal and external relationshipsExceptional attention to detail, with the ability to identify and clearly communicate fit issuesRecognized for problem‑solving skills, adaptability to changing priorities, and ability to meet deadlinesExcellent English communication skills (written and verbal) to convey technical information effectivelyWhat we offerContinuing your career growth thanks to managers who care about the well‑being and development of their teams' skills, in particular through innovative projectsCommitment to cultural diversity, gender equality, and supporting the employment of people with disabilities within our companyBeing proud to work for a responsible company committed to sustainabilityBeing part of a dynamic and friendly office in the heart of MilanBenefiting from a flexible organization and the possibility of working remotelyEnjoying attractive prices on our brand, and much moreSeniority level Mid‑Senior levelEmployment type Full‑timeJob function Design#J-18808-Ljbffr
