He or she assists customers in selecting required parts or accessories in a friendly, professional manner. He or she locates automotive products within the current inventory or from other sources (such as the internet, vendors, other dealerships, etc.) ensures all documentation is completed accurately and timely, and processes payments as needed.Parts Advisor ResponsibilitiesAssists all customers (retail and wholesale) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient mannerReviews body shop estimates to be sure that ordered parts are correct and pricing is in line with the estimatePulls and fills orders from stockNotifies parts manager of out-of-stock partsLocates out-of-stock parts from an outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessaryFollows up on back-ordered partsReplenishes assigned inventory dailyMakes sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orderProcesses payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorizationIssues and tracks requested shop tools to techniciansKeeps orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special-order partsSets up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick‑upStays current with new products and product updatesHelps the Parts Manager maintain a lost sales tracking programOther duties as assignedParts Advisor RequirementsMinimum two years of automotive dealership parts experienceProven ability to work well in a process‑driven environmentHigh school diploma or GEDDemonstrated ability to work well with others and be a team playerStrong communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated desire to learn new processes and adapt quicklyProficiency in computer skillsProfessional dress, speech, and behaviorMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently on a daily basisHuffines Compensation and BenefitsCompetitive compensation planWork‑life balanced cultureMedical benefits including vision, dental, and Health Savings Account (HSA)401(k) with company matchCompany‑paid life insurancePaid time off (PTO)Paid holidaysChaplain ServicesHUFFINES IS A DRUG‑FREE WORKPLACEIn addition to background checks, Huffines performs pre‑employment and random drug testing lopr#J-18808-Ljbffr
