Role Description We are seeking an experienced and proactive Accountant to join our administrative team at our headquarters in Brescia (Roncadelle). The ideal candidate has a strong technical background and an analytical approach, capable of independently managing accounting processes while ensuring accuracy, reliability, and compliance with deadlines. The selected candidate will work on-site and collaborate with the administrative team and external consultants to ensure accurate accounting management in compliance with current regulations. Key activities include budgeting, financial analysis, support during audits, and maintaining the accuracy of financial data in support of the company’s overall operations. Key Responsibilities Management of general accounting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable Recording of ordinary and extraordinary accounting entries Preparation of adjustment and accrual entries Support in the preparation of pre-tax financial statements (preferred) Management of periodic tax obligations (VAT, LIPE, F24) Monitoring of cash flows and bank reconciliations Handling accounting matters related to import/export (Intrastat, customs, foreign currencies) Preparation and verification of accounting and administrative documentation Collaboration with auditors, tax consultants, and other company departments Ensuring compliance with current accounting and tax regulations Requirements (Hard Skills) Educational background: Diploma in Accounting and/or Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or related fields At least 3 years of experience in a similar role (Preferable experience in manufacturing or international trade environments) Preferred: competence up to the preparation of pre-tax financial statements Preferred: experience in import/export companies In-depth knowledge of VAT regulations and national accounting principles Proficiency in managing accounting records and preparing financial reports Excellent knowledge of main ERP management systems Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel Soft Skills Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry Ability to manage stress and deadlines effectively, particularly during peak periods (financial closing, tax deadlines) Strong analytical problem‑solving skills to resolve accounting discrepancies or inconsistencies High ethical standards and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial and corporate data Effective communication skills to interact clearly with external consultants, suppliers, and internal departments Ability to work collaboratively in an on‑site environment Additional Requirements Residence in areas near the company headquarters (Roncadelle - Brescia) Professional certifications (e.g., CPA or equivalent) are considered a plus Working Hours 08:30 – 12:30 14:00 – 18:00 What We Offer Compensation aligned with experience Dynamic and structured working environment Professional growth opportunities within the administrative area Involvement in complex and international accounting processes #J-18808-Ljbffr
