Site Field Engineer – Ref. JOB-1505 Do you want to actively contribute to a major industrial project and gain solid on-site experience on a strategic decarbonization initiative? We are looking for a Junior Site Project Engineer / Junior Field Engineer to support engineering, construction, and permitting activities on a large‑scale industrial project in the Netherlands . This forward‑looking project, focused on the decarbonization of industry, offers a unique opportunity to apply your skills while working for a top‑tier client. Based in the Netherlands, this position requires full‑time on‑site presence; accommodation and a living allowance are covered by the client to support the conditions of the assignment. Our Responsibilities Coordinate field engineering activities on site, in close collaboration with the engineering office and the construction company. Ensure follow‑up, expediting, and document control, including deliverable reviews, drawing checks, and management of engineering/construction clashes. Monitor engineering progress and contribute to updates of the project schedule (L3). Proactively follow up with stakeholders to secure timely delivery and quality of deliverables. Plan, monitor, and report permitting activities, ensuring compliance with local regulations. Verify that construction activities comply with regulatory and permitting requirements. Be present on site and act as the interface between engineering, construction, and international teams. Participate in Quantity Surveying (QS) activities: checking executed quantities and verifying consistency with subcontractor declarations. Your Profile Engineering degree (Mechanical, electromechanical, civil engineering, construction, industrial engineering, or equivalent). 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial or infrastructure projects (engineering, construction, or site‑based roles). Initial experience in field engineering, engineering/construction coordination, or construction is an advantage. Strong interest in on‑site activities. Comfortable working in a matrix and multicultural environment. Fluent in English.
