Italdesign is looking for an electronic/ mechatronics/ automotive engineer willing to join a young team, taking care of development of Body and Comfort related ECUs and functions, dealing with an international customers’ portfolio both inside and outside the VW Group.

Responsibilities

- Main Responsible for the development/integration of Electronic control units and functions inside the vehicle for the body & comfort electronics perimeter- Project status reporting- Technical agreements with all included parties- Project and Supplier steering- SW Release management in the tracking systems- Steering and Tracking of the testing activities.

Key requirements

- Good Knowledge of Electronic System and function development- Good knowledge of automotive functional architectures- Handling of Vector CANoe and CANalyzer- Knowledge of the common Bus interfaces (e.g. CAN, FlexRay, CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet, LIN etc.)- Ability to manage complex timelines/deadlines related to SW releases and change requests.- Used to work independently being able to share knowledge with the team, Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Preferential requirements

- Previous experience in the automotive field (at least 2 years)- Required (OEM, Tier1/2, Engineering specialist), focus on Comfort Electronic perimeter (Body Control Module/ Door ECU/ Clima ECU

Additional Information

Education: Master Degree in Electronics/ Mechatronics/ Automotive Engineering

Language skills: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken Italian and English are required. Knowledge of German would be appreciated.
