ORACLE (EBS) Technical Specialist / Developer

We are identifying experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) professionals for an opportunity within an industrial SME operating in Italy, part of an international manufacturing group .

The company combines the agility and hands-on culture of a smaller industrial organization with the resources, standards and international exposure of a larger group.

As part of its European development, the organization is considering strengthening its internal Oracle EBS expertise to support business operations, improve system performance and ensure effective integration across its industrial activities.

We are particularly interested in hands-on Oracle EBS technical specialists with strong programming, data extraction and application development capabilities.

Professionals who have developed their expertise through Oracle EBS implementation projects within consulting firms or systems integrators, and subsequently gained experience in industrial environments, would be particularly relevant.

Your Potential Responsibilities

Depending on the final scope of the position, responsibilities may include:

• Develop, maintain and optimize Oracle E-Business Suite applications and technical solutions.
• Design and execute data extraction, transformation and reporting processes.
• Develop and maintain SQL and PL/SQL programs, procedures, packages and interfaces.
• Support Oracle EBS implementation, enhancement, integration and upgrade projects.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and improve application performance.
• Work directly with operational teams across manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, inventory and finance.
• Collaborate with international Corporate IT teams and external technology partners.
• Contribute to strengthening internal Oracle expertise and improving user autonomy.

Your Professional Background

We are looking for professionals who demonstrate:

• Proven hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL programming capabilities.
• Experience in data extraction, application development and systems integration.
• Participation in Oracle EBS implementation projects, ideally within consulting or systems integration firms.
• Exposure to manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Familiarity with Oracle Forms, Reports, BI Publisher, APIs or related technologies would be an advantage.
• Ability to work autonomously in a lean organization, combining technical expertise with a pragmatic, problem-solving mindset.
• Willingness to remain personally involved in technical execution rather than focusing exclusively on project coordination or team management.
• Professional proficiency in Italian and English.
