If you are a motivated procurement professional with strong expertise in automotive purchasing and eager to make an impact in a global organization, we encourage you to apply.About the RoleManage the purchasing of BOM materials such as processed products, fasteners, components, extrusions, metal, stamping, kits, and prototypes.Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned commodities in line with global objectives.Prepare documentation for sourcing committees and present in global committee meetings.Monitor and achieve global KPIs within responsible commodities.Promote consignment stock application across all locations.Negotiate and drive improved payment terms with suppliers.Lead initiatives to establish Long-Term Agreements (LTAs).Consolidate suppliers and optimize the global supply footprint.Identify and onboard innovative suppliers in collaboration with PCC, Engineering, and Sales.Conduct supplier analyses regarding quality, capacity, and compliance.Manage RFQs, evaluate proposals, and ensure alignment with BOM requirements.Create purchase contracts in ERP with negotiated terms and conditions as per Sodecia procedures.Ensure supplier compliance with safety, environmental, and company requirements throughout the product lifecycle.Prepare BOM purchasing reports and analyze performance gaps.Consolidate BOM purchases, contracts, and supplier base.Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in BOM purchasing.Actively participate in weekly regional plant meetings, APQP reviews, purchasing updates, and global commodity lead discussions.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar purchasing role within the automotive sector (or closely related).Solid experience in strategic sourcing and supplier management.Proficiency in SAP and purchasing processes.Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.Fluency in English (written and spoken).Required SkillsStrong understanding of BOM materials and automotive supply chain dynamics.Proven track record in contract negotiation and supplier consolidation.Analytical mindset with attention to cost, quality, and delivery performance.Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.High ethical standards and commitment to compliance.Why Join UsWork in a dynamic, multicultural, and innovative environment.Be part of a global company driving excellence in automotive manufacturing.Enjoy a collaborative, supportive, and results-oriented workplace culture.Salary Range: 50-60 thousand euro/yearApply now to join SODECIA with your CV in EnglishSend CV to HR Contact person:Data protection notice:By applying, your personal data will be processed for recruitment purposes and stored for 3 years.
