In this role, you will:Be responsible for system architecture and development of new features for embedded systemsInvestigate, prototype and deliver new and innovative system solutionsDesign, develop and verify firmware for embedded systemsParticipate in design reviews, API development, and documentationWork with new technologies that are vital to product developmentDeliver investigation plans and reports, architectural documents, design specs, software and firmware source code, build scriptsBuild expertise in one or more core wireless technologies—WiFi, BluetoothPerform tasks including debug, bring‑up, Beta and production software developmentSuccessfully collaborate with both software and hardware product teamsAbout the teamOur team puts a high value on work‑life balance. We care about your career growth and strive to assign projects based on what will help each team member develop into a better‑rounded engineer and enable them to take on more complex tasks in the future.Basic Qualifications3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experienceExperience in embedded development in C/C++Experience in computer science fundamentals (object‑oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis)Experience in one or more of these areas: cameras, sensors and associated algorithm developmentExperience in embedded software design, development and debugging preferably on ARM based platformsExperience with RTOS and embedded Linux developmentPreferred Qualifications3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experienceExperience with general troubleshooting/debugging of hardware, or experience in development in the last 3 yearsExperience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilitiesExperience in computer architecture, or experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering teamExperience collaborating and influencing multiple teams across multiple organizationsExperience coordinating between technical teams, peers and business stakeholdersAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.#J-18808-Ljbffr
