Embedded Software Engineer – Linux Milano (ibrido) Siamo una boutique di headhunting specializzata nella ricerca di profili senior e middle management. Per un nostro cliente, un’importante azienda italiana con una lunga tradizione industriale e un forte orientamento all’innovazione tecnologica nel settore dei veicoli off‑highway, stiamo cercando un Embedded Software Engineer – Linux da inserire nel team di sviluppo. Cosa farai Sviluppo e manutenzione di firmware embedded Linux su piattaforme ARM. Programmazione in linguaggio C (e C++) Porting, configurazione e personalizzazione di distribuzioni Linux Embedded (es. Yocto, Buildroot). Integrazione e sviluppo di device driver e middleware per la gestione di periferiche e sensori. Ottimizzazione delle prestazioni del sistema e gestione della memoria. Sviluppo di firmware di basso livello per MCU e applicativi di alto livello platform‑independent. Debug, analisi e profiling tramite strumenti come GDB, JTAG, oscilloscope, logic analyzer. Collaborazione con team multidisciplinari di elettronica, meccatronica e software per l’integrazione di sistemi IoT e telematica. Partecipazione all’ integrazione continua (CI / CD) e gestione del codice sorgente tramite Git. Requisiti Ottima conoscenza del linguaggio C e delle tecniche di programmazione in ambienti Linux Embedded. Esperienza con microcontrollori ARM e relativi ambienti di sviluppo (toolchain GCC, cross‑compilazione). Conoscenza dei sistemi operativi real‑time (FreeRTOS) e concetti di multitasking e sincronizzazione. Esperienza con protocollo CAN e bus di comunicazione (SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet). Familiarità con scripting (Python o Bash) per automazione e test. Conoscenza delle tecniche di debugging hardware / software e uso di strumenti di misura. Gradita conoscenza di containerizzazione o virtualizzazione (Docker, QEMU). Passione per la tecnologia embedded, curiosità e approccio hands‑on.
