If you want to grow your career whilst finding the perfect balance between work and life, Vodafone offers the opportunities to help you belong and make a real impact.What You’ll DoResponsibilitiesResponsible for High Level and Low Level Design engineering and network design optimizationDrive increased quality of our network end to endProvide HLDs, LLDs, define templates, modularize, and industrialize configuration items and their implementationDeploy the network fit for purpose including understanding of how our services/applications layer will run across the network (capacity, capability, utilisation)Implement Virtualisation and segregation conceptsConduct proof of concept (POC) validationResponsible for optimal implementation process that delivers ensured qualityDecrease the design and implementation costs and to achieve a harmonized & simplified network infrastructureTake control over CAPEX budget; forecast, planning, allocation, approval process, administrationDeployment of the validated solution to its operational environment and deliver trainingPlanning of Changes and support of Change Management ProcessSupervision of external supporters and 3rd partiesQuality assurance in the design and implementation processSupport, Test & Accept/Audit the deployed solutionHand over the accepted solution to Operations and MaintenanceManage and control the different existing test environmentsDefine necessary test catalogues and test plansDocument test & QA activitiesDrive knowledge transfer and technical skill development within Network Implementation teamResponsible to ensure a network documentationSupport the state-of-the art network documentation for the implemented solution that is aligned with Cyber Security architectureEnsure the quality of the documentationSupport the data population and accuracy of the Asset- and Change Management - DatabasesResponsible to ensure network harmonisation and standardization across the Region / the local marketHarmonize Office LAN network environments and servicesDrive network standards across Local marketsDrive + Support Network innovations as SDNCollaboration and TeamworkAlignment with other engineering, implementation, and operations teams in VodafoneDevelopment of harmonized solutions within Regions and Cyber SecurityShare expertise with other network teams across VodafoneWho You AreCore competencies, knowledge and experienceBusiness skills: Strong team player and appreciate working in a project organization considerable drive and interest in taking on new tasks and challenges thorough experience in collaboration with the Office IT, Data centre, service management and ITIL processesIn-depth knowledge in the following areas:Detailed Knowledge in passive network infrastructureExpert Knowledge in networks (TCP/IP, Protocols, Structures, Hardware, Security)Expert Knowledge in the area of the installation and configuration of network components (Routers, Switches, VPN Gateways, Firewalls, Proxies and others)Expert Knowledge in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, VRF, VLAN, STP, HSRP), VOIP technology, WLAN technology, DHCP, DNS, ADExpert Knowledge in network management and network analysis. Ability to design and implement network segregation and segmentation solutionsMust have technical / professional qualifications:An academic degree and/or at least 5 years work experience in an IT organization supporting large heterogeneous IT infrastructuresExperiences in project managementR&S CCNA or CCNP and Fortinet NSE 6 or FCSS SD-wan Certifications strongly recommended. Professional certifications are essential for advanced office LAN management.
